The SLS AMG coupe with gullwing doors has been on the market for a while now and soon the convertible version will join the party.
Spotted testing in Germany near the Mercedes facility in Stuttgart/Sindelfingen., the SLS AMG Roadster shows us a retractable canvas roof and disguised lights, though there’s really nothing to hide as they will be identical to the coupe. For obvious reasons the gullwing doors are replaced with regular doors.
Under the bonnet is the same hand-built 563bhp 6.2-litre V8, that takes this open-top supercar from 0-60 mph in around 4.0 seconds all the way to a top speed of 192 mph.
The SLS AMG Roadster will be making its world debut at next year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, prices are expected to start at around £180,000.
